The Death Note Board

June 13, 2008 - Oekakiart.com is under the process of being remade and we are disabling draw and upload access until the new site is up. (Upload and draw access still works on our older boards, however.) O-mails and comments still work so feel free to message each other. When the site is remade, ALL BOARDS will be deleted and you will have to go through the application process for remaking a board. If you currently own a board, please tell us in your application when oekaki board creation is up.

You will need to make a NEW OEKAKIART account. This currently works and can be done so on our front page (http://www.oekakiart.com) so please register as soon as possible in order to get the username that you want. We have user profiles, mailbox, and a shout board working and we are currently working on the board creation system.

Please send me any o-mails if you have questions or comments.

Finally got things decent enough. ;P Anyways, welcome to the Death Note oekaki board. This is now the place where Death Note fan art oekakis go. Yay~ However, there are some rules you must follow.

Rules
1. Please adult your pictures if they contain extreme gore, nudity, or spoilers. Also, please explain why you adulted your picture.
2. Do not flame or insult other users or their art.
3. Death Note related art only please. There will be days where other art is allowed, I will let all know those days a week in advance.
4. No work under 15 minutes unless it is WIP.
5. Please limit yourself to 3 oekakis a day.
6. Have fun ;D

Opportunities to become an Admin
I think that the board needs another admin besides myself so if you think you have what it takes, just send me an o-mail saying why you think you should be an admin. I'm not going to say what I'm looking for in an admin, I'll leave it up to you to decide what I want to see. Depending on what I receive, up to two people could become an admin.

Anyways I'll give you some crit cause I'm awesome like that -shot- From what I can see it looks pretty well shaded, but I think you should go darker. Right now everything is so light that it all kind of blends in and it's hard to see. And another solution to this "I can't see everything's so light DDD: " problem, you could make the background darker to make some contrast. Other than what I pointed out, it looks fantabulous.

What I'm thinking is that there's no lineart so it's like "OMG WHERE DOES THIS START AND WHERE IS THE END?!"
I've had this lineart art block for ever and I though it was gone but it wasn't so I made it a lineless but I'm not that great at lineless-es
And in the fault in that my deliberation was that if I make an erratic mauve-ist spot it would appear better but my erroneous assumption was not as I thought.
In other words--I WAS WRONG *lol the word wrong sounds like 'rong' :D /my humor is that great/*
