We're getting a lot closer to being able to host boards. Woo! Check out the new stuff that works.

New Stuff:
- Memberlist works (we still have to add more stuff to it though). If you'd like to join a board, click the top right link that says Join Oekaki. This might not have much functionality for fully public boards, (except that it adds you to the board's memberlist) however it will be useful for oekakis that are a bit more private, such as boards that only allow members to draw. Privacy options for oekakis will be editable in the Manage Oekaki section of the site when hosting is back up.
- We've added more profile options, so now you can add your Myspace, Imeem, Gaia Online, SheezyArt, and DeviantART user information and it will link people to your pages.
- Archives work. I've added some archives to the test oekaki if anyone is interested.
- The viewimage page shows recent pictures that the artist has drawn as well. Don't worry if it bothers you, we're going to make a setting in your account options so that you can disable this box from showing.
- Online list works now and has cute little icons too. :B
- Retouch works on everything except ChibiPaint and maybe OekakiBBS. (Can't remember if it works or not on OekakiBBS... *shot*)
- Hovering over the user panel link in the test oekaki will give you the options to edit your profile, comments, and pictures.
- We've added editing comments and pics links to the actual oekaki, so every message you post will be editable from the board and not just from the user panel.
- Added a mailbox link to the oekaki.
- The site has upload access, however only Kameloh and I can use it at the moment. It's still under development.

New Stuff You Probably Don't Care About:

- Board owners can customize all users with flags ranging from allowing people to edit the notice, to having upload access.
- Board owners can also give administrators custom titles and ranks. You'll see where we're going with this when we finish up with this system.
- The image viewer page contains administration links now.

We're still working on fixing retouch in ChibiPaint and getting OekakiBBS animations to show.

The new layout has been implemented on all pages of the site except on the oekaki management page. If you have any problems viewing the layout, please send me an o-mail with information on what browser (including the version) you are using, and a description of the problem. I have tested this layout on the current versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera and the pages seem to be displaying fine.

Shi Painter works on our test oekaki so be sure to try that out sometime. Please do not use Shi Painter pro or the animated version of Shi Painter as we have not got those applets working yet. Thank you!
Technical Note: The reason why it has taken us so long to get the drawing up on oekakis is because our GD Library was missing ever since we did a recent server upgrade so the applet was not able to generate thumbnails. We finally had GD Library re-installed about a day or two ago and all is well now!

Profiles now have a media section where users can enter code for embedded music, videos, flash, images etc.... We have also fixed the user gallery, so your oekakis will show on your profile as well.

Shouts work on profiles now. We have also added features in the edit profile section so that users can choose (if they have more than 10 shouts) whether or not their shouts will appear in a scrolling box and users may also specify the height of the box.

I have created a new layout for the site, however it can only be viewed on the front page for now. Once I get all of the other pages working I will update the other pages on the site as well.

Hey all, just adding an update for the features that work on the site so far. We still have a lot to do and what you see now won't even be the layout for the completed site so I've got to get cracking on a layout.

By the way, I have added a new help section for the site for those of you who are confused or don't know what's going on.
